제 목 : 교회의 일꾼과 하나님의 비밀
(고전 4:1～5절)
(The secret of the church’s workers and God.)
본문 1절
“사람이 마땅히 우리를 그리스도의 일꾼이요 하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자로 여길지어다”
Man ought to regard us as Christ’s workmen and God’s secretors.
“하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자로서의 일꾼”
A worker who is in charge of God’s secreats.
“그리스도의 일꾼”(The workers of Christ.)
휘페레테스(Whippertes)=배 밑에서 노를 젓는 자
A person who paddles under a boat.

“하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자” (The One who is in Charge of God’s Sereats.)
=복음을 맡은 자들 (Those in charge of the gospel.)
‘복음을 맡은 자가 되었다는 것은 내 손에 생명이 들려져 있다는 뜻“
Being the one in charge of the gospel means that I have life in my hands.
2절, “맡은 자들에게 구할 것은 충성이니라”
It is loyalty to those who are in charge.
“착하고 충성된 종아! 잘하였도다 네 주인의 즐거움에 참예할지어다.”
Good and loyal servant, you did a good job and participate in the pleasure of your master.
“우리에게는 각자의 사명과 직분이 있다.”
We have our own mission and duty.
1. 주님께 충성할 마음을 달라고 기도하라
(Pray for a heart to be loyal.)
“마음이 없는 사람은 충성된 일꾼이 될 수 없다.”
A heartless man cannot be a loyalworker.
‘평양 감사도 저 싫으면 못한다’
If you don’t like me, you can’t do it.
2절, “맡은 자들에게 구할 것은 충성이니라”
It is loyalty to those who are in charge.
“주님! 저에게 충성의 마음을 주십시오.
제 마음에 감동을 주셔서 충성된 일꾼이 되게 해주세요.
정말 주님을 위해 땀을 흘리는 일꾼이 되기를 원합니다“
Give mea heart of loyalty, o Lord. Let me be a loyal worker by
touching my heart. I really want to be a sweaty worker for you.
2. 희생을 먼저 생각해야 한다.
(Sacrifice must be thought first)
“충성과 헌신은 아무나 하는 것이 아니다”
Loyalty and commitment are not for everyone.
1) 귀중한 시간을 희생할 수 있어야 한다.
(You must be able to sacrifice valuable time.)
2) 내 즐거움을 희생할 수 있어야 한다.
(I must be able to sacrifice my enjoyment.)
‘착하고 충성된 종아 잘 하였다’
Nice and loyal servant, well done.
3) 내 몸과 내 재물을 다 희생할 수 있어야 한다.
(I must be able to sacrifice my body and my riches.)
“충성된 일꾼이 되기 위해선 손해볼 각오, 희생할 각오, 즐거움도 포기할 수 있는 믿음이 있어야 한다“
In order to become a loyal worker, you must have the determination to lose, to sacrifice, and to give up the joy.
“나는 팔을 잃은 것이 아니다. 내 조국에 팔 하나를 바친 것이다.”
I have not lost my arm, but I have given up one arm for my country.
“봉사하기 위해 바쳤던 모든 시간과 땀방울, 상처들, 재물들은
결코 손해보고 잃은 것이 아니라, 주님을 위해 바친 것이다“
All the time, sweat, wounds, and wealth devote to service
was never lost for loss, but for the Lord.
“주님께 기꺼이 나를 드려서 충성하는 일꾼이 되세요”
You are willing to give me to the Lord and become a loyal worker.
“나는 나이 많아 늙었다.”(I’m old and old.)
수 23:10절
“너희 중 한 사람이 천 명을 좇으니리 이는 너희의 하나님 여호와 그가 너희에게 말씀하신 것 같이
너희를 위하여 싸우심이라”
“너희는 약하지 않다 너희 한 사람은 가나안 족속 1천명을 쫓아내는 능력을 보일 것이다“
You are not weak. Every one of you will show the ability to expel the Canaanites.
“여러분은 결코 나약하거나 부족한 사람이 아니다.”
You are never weak or lacking.
“여러분은 그리스도의 일꾼이요, 하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자들이다”
You are the wlrkers of Christ and the secretes of God.
